Step Inside A Fashion Designer’s Closet
Last modified on September 11th, 2017
Tommy and Dee Hilfiger allowed Architectural Digest to step inside the fashion designer’s closet to share a few intimate secrets about their personal wardrobes. It’s fun to see how opposites truly do attract. Like most couples, she likes to dress up. He prefers to keep his wardrobe simple pairing chinos with blue and white stripe shirts. while her closet is full of a mix of contemporary and v array of designer clothing.
On the other hand, Dee’s wardrobe is a bit more varied, vast and fun. Her closet is a mix of contemporary and vintage designer wear. However, it’s clear her passion is for vintage designer clothing, classic Hollywood, and glamorous style icons such as Marilyn Monroe. Black and white photos of Monroe and Marlene Dietrich can be seen hanging on a wall in her dressing room.
As a matter of fact, it’s her well-edited vintage wardrobe that’s got us inspired and wishing we could see more. So, we shopped around and found a few one-of-a-kind vintage and vintage inspired dresses that we thought you might like, too.
