Just realized that one of our favorite blogs to follow, Busy Being Fabulous  is owned by Interior Stylist Deb McLean. One of  Australia’s  most sought- after interior stylist around the world. We love her use of subtle colors and the juxtaposition of the everyday object mixed with the unexpected.  Deb describes her style as being “quirky, eclectic, arty and fun with a Scandinavian twist…not highbrow.”  She has styled for  many of the top magazines such as Vogue Living, Inside Out Magazine, Belle and Elle Decor UK. Her work is featured in many major retail advertising campaigns in Australia, the US and the UK.

In a recent  interview with Heart Home Magazine she talked about her love for the beauty of things that aren’t perfect, mixed with slick high-end designer pieces.  She likes to look to both the future and past for inspiration and finds that as an ongoing trend throughout all facets of design.   Her tip for instant fabulousness?  “Change your drama”. Try a new color on the walls, a gorgeous fur throw and masses of scatter cushions. So, take a look at just a few of our favorite shots that inspired The Upcycled Market. After all, as Deb states, “a stylist has been entrusted the job of delivering a little bit of magic that hopefully inspires others to want to create the same.”
